OUR PURPOSE
The Appalachia Skate Kommission,
xASKx, is a grassroots community organization
dedicated to creating a free community skate park for
the town of Appalachia and surrounding area.  A skate
park will provide the area’s children with a safe, positive
recreational environment and an alternative to
drug & alcohol abuse.
Additional benefits
  • Will provide boost to area businesses, and create new business
    opportunities.

  • Unique features that will make the park a tourism draw to the area.

  • A dynamic community space capable of hosting art, music, and
    community health events.

  • The kids are outspoken: “There’s nothing to do!”  ASK is working
    towards positive changes.
(Well, not exactly a shakedown, but...)
We can do it.  We will do it. ASK is fully committed
to the realization of our children's dreams, and we hope
that you will join us in our determination to complete
the project.  To support Appalachia's skate park project --
be it with cash donations, donation of materials,
volunteer work, or even just to talk to us more about
the project, please contact
